This week I did not leave my house at all. I try to do one big grocery trip every seven or eight days so I can stay inside and help flatten the curve and keep my neighbors safe. However, I make sure I walk up and down the stairs in my house or walk laps on the roof to keep my body moving. Exercise is so important for my mental health. I walked 20 miles this week!
So far, I have traveled 5,306 miles from my hometown in Pennsylvania to Buenos Aires.
I walked! Public transportation is reserved for people who are still required to go to work during this quarantine, like doctors and nurses.
My roof! During the day, I can see my neighbors on their roof next door and we can have a little chat. In the evening, I can watch the sunset. Every night at nine p.m., people go out on their balcony or roof and clap for our healthcare workers and first responders. Some people even have whistles or bang on pots and pans to show their support.
