In December 2024, a new TGV line opened between Paris and Berlin, making it possible to travel between them directly by train. According to Le Figaro, in 2025 a new TGV model (TGV M) should be deployed around France; Trenitalia, an Italian train company voted Europe’s best train service of 2024, will operate between Paris and Marseille; Renfe, a Spanish train company, is set to reopen a line between Barcelona and Toulouse; and a new Eurostar-plane ticket package will be available with Air France, making it possible to travel, for example, from New York to Paris and then get directly on a Eurostar—all in one booking!
