What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

Have you ever heard of 말차 (malcha), or matcha? Matcha is a type of green tea that people drink throughout the world, and South Korea is famous for its green tea fields. This week, my friends and I visited a café that only sells matcha. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that the café was inside of someone’s home, and the walls were covered with hand-drawn pictures of cats.

Other Travel News from this week:

While South Korea’s public transportation is very easy to use, if you’re not fast enough, you might hear the phrase 빠리 빠리 (bali bali), or “hurry hurry.” Korea is well-known for its fast-paced culture, and if you hesitate when boarding or leaving public transportation, people may go around you. This week, I even watched a bus driver leave people behind. Move quickly, and always be ready to go!
