This past weekend I went on a trip to Vienna with 6 other students in my study abroad program. The train ride took about 2 and a half hours. Vienna is roughly 160 miles away, so the trip there and back was about 320 miles. We toured several museums and historic sites, while also having a lot of free time from the guided tours to explore on our own.
So far on my trip, including visits to Brussels, Poprad, and my past weekend in Vienna, I have traveled about 2,500 miles in total. I plan to travel much more over the course of these upcoming weeks, with plans to go to Innsbruck, Interlaken, and Bolzano by train for my spring break.
To get to classes or around the city, I take a tram or simply walk, as the weather has been getting nicer. Since being here, I have been walking much more than usual, more than 10,000 steps a day, nearly every day.
