This week I traveled one hour and 30 minutes to get to the beach.
I traveled about 2,900 miles from my home in Wilmington, Delaware to my home here in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It took two plane rides and two taxis to get here.
To get around the downtown area of the city, I walk, because everything is close enough. To get to other parts of the city or other cities, I take Ubers, taxis or the bus.
The most interesting place I visited was the beach town called Las Playas. The beach is a hour and a half away from the city that I am living in, so my friends and I had to take a bus to get there. During the bus trip, we rode past many farms, different cities and beautiful mountainsides. There was a parade happening on the boardwalk with a band playing and people riding horses. My friends and I swam some and enjoyed the nice weather.
