My big travel this week was from Fuerteventura to Tenerife and back, which was a 50 minute flight each way. I also took a trip up to Corralejo (the very northern tip of my island) for a meeting, which was a 40-minute bus ride.
I've lost track, I think! This was my first big trip since I started teaching, but I've traveled a fair bit around my own island and within my own city.
I took a lot of buses this week, and then I also took a plane to and from Tenerife!
I stayed just outside of Santa Cruz in a town called San Andres. It was super beautiful there, and I had a lovely view of the ocean from my flat!
It's been very windy on the islands for the past two weeks, which made the plane rides very bumpy! I definitely learned how much better it is to fly when there isn't any turbulence compared to when there's a lot.
