This week I traveled about an hour car ride outside of Ljubljana, which is actually found on the other end of the country of Slovenia because it's so small. The entire country is about the same size of the U.S state of New Jersey.
I've traveled 4,775 miles from home.
I walk most places in the center of Ljubljana near where I live, I take the bus to get to work every day, and I took a car to go into the field with another researcher. How did each of you get to school today?
The most interesting place I visited was the Ljubljana Castle which sits on top of a hill overlooking the city of Ljubljana. The site of the castle has been settled since 1200 BC and the current castle dates back to the 11th century (around 1000 AD), so it's very old! There's a lot of history to see there as well as some amazing views of the city below and the mountains in the distance!
