What music did I listen to this week?:

I listen to a lot of music while I am here! One thing I think is interesting is that at the end of school every day, the school plays a song while students help clean up their classrooms and the school. The song is from a famous Taiwanese movie. If you would like to listen to the song, you can click here to listen to it: Click here!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

This week at school, we celebrated Halloween! On Friday, students had a costume party. It was a lot of fun! The kids had some great costumes, and I got to dress up, too. I dressed up as Mario, and the kids thought it was really funny. We also played Halloween Bingo, which was also very fun!

What did I read this week?:

I love baseball, so this week I've been reading a book called How Baseball Happened by Thomas Gilbert. I brought this book from home, and have been reading it on the train and bus. I think it is very interesting, and I've learned a lot about how baseball became a sport.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I teach seven P.E. classes every week. This week, my first-grade students practiced a relay race. We used jump ropes and hula hoops as part of the relay race, and the students did a great job with it! Afterward, I taught the students a new game because they did very well. I taught them how to play Sharks and Minnows. Have you played Sharks and Minnows before? It's very popular in America, but here in Taiwan, my students had never heard of it before! They had a lot of fun playing the game.
