If you count the miles I flew to get to the boat, I have traveled 2,800 miles total. I have been at sea for 1,400 miles and in the air for 1,400 miles.
Normally, I am on the boat for six weeks and home for about five weeks. I only get five weeks at home because I must fly to or from where our boat is at when it arrives into port. This can be almost anywhere in the world! I have been to a lot of different countries since I started working on the ocean more than seven years ago.
You can probably guess that a boat is the best way to go around at sea. Of course, I use my feet to walk around on the boat. too.
Every place is interesting on the sea because you never know what you’re going to see!
