The weather was very cool in the mornings and evenings. The afternoons were pretty hot and dry, especially because there is not a lot of shade. But the hot afternoons do tend to ease into lovely cool and breezy evenings.
This week, I saw many stray cats all over the streets. I also saw goats and camels while driving outside of the city.
The olives are blooming on the olive trees all over the city. I am hoping to go olive picking next week. I also drove by the famous Jordan River this week, though I did not go down to see it yet.
The sun is still hot in the daytime, but families are beginning to rearrange their homes in preparation for winter. We expect heavy rains this year.
