Traveler Bio

Buenas (Hello)! My name is Veronica Buczak, I’m originally from Buffalo, New York, but I grew up mostly in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I’ve moved around a lot, but Indiana is definitely where I’ve spent most of my life. I love to read, draw, travel, and hang out with my friends. I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota for college, and graduated almost two years ago with a degree in economics and art. After graduating, I moved to Colorado to work at a ski resort, before moving to South Carolina to live with family before I left the country.

Currently, I’m a Peace Corps volunteer in Panama, a small country at the very bottom of Central America, known for the Panama Canal and its rich biodiversity. It’s often called the Puente del Mundo, Corazón del Universo (Bridge of the World, Heart of the Universe), due to its location and because of the amount of boats that travel through the canal from all over the world. I’m currently working at a local high school, and traveling and exploring the country when I can. I’m so excited to share my adventures with you all!
