At Oxford, the weather was pretty nice. There was sunshine or scattered clouds the whole time I was there and it wasn’t too cold.
In London, I saw a grey heron by the Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park and some large black crows by the Palace of Westminster, the meeting place of the two houses of Parliament in the United Kingdom. I also saw some black cows in Oxford.
I saw a herd of fallow deer who live in a park behind one of the Oxford colleges. You can read all about it in my Nature field note.
I learned that a foggy morning in Oxford or London is not an omen for bad weather. It was foggy every morning that I was there, but every day it cleared up by the afternoon and got sunny.
