At the start of my travels this week, I flew 600 miles to London and then I took a bus another 50 miles to Oxford. During my time in the United Kingdom, I took an additional day trip to London, which was another 100 miles roundtrip. Then I made the 650 mile long journey back to Berlin. In total, I travelled 1,400 miles.
I more than doubled my travel distance this week. So far, I’d travelled about 1,260 miles around Germany and now another I've traveled another 1,400 miles to England.
Once I was in Oxford, I mostly got around on foot. On the day that I travelled to London, I took a train there and back, and I took taxicabs to get around in London. The taxis in London are black instead of yellow or green like in New York City.
I visited the Natural History Museum in London. It’s a really big museum, but I spent most of my time looking at their dinosaur fossils. They even had a full sized, animatronic T-Rex!
