The low was near 40 degrees Fahenreit and high was around 76 degrees F. The weather in Kathmandu at this time of year is dry. It doesn't rain very often when it's not the rainy season. Also, even though the city is located at more than 5000 feet in altitude, it rarely snows here. The last time it snowed here was in 2019 and the time before that was in 2007!
Kathmandu is filled with dogs! They sleep by day and bark at night because it's their job to do so! They bark to alert people and other dogs of intruders (such as panthers!). Also, this week I saw a blue crow, macaques, cows and one cat.
We went to one of the mountains above Kathmandu and hung out at a river on a warm and sticky day. It felt good to sit down and put my feet in the cold water.
It doesn't snow in Kathmandu, so the rivers here come from springs not meltwater.
