I’m taking three engineering classes and one Chinese cultural class. One of my classes in particular gives me a really great opportunity to learn because it is a project-based class. I'm on a team with native Chinese students working on a project that was proposed by Intel. The project is to work on problems with virtual reality technology.
Engineering is my biggest passion, but I also have another passion— sports. Growing up, I played football and basketball for my high school. I am an extremely competitive person, and I enjoy sports because that's where I can compete. My favorite sport is currently volleyball, but because of my competitive nature, I try to learn how to play most sports. These days, I’m learning how to play ping-pong.
My other hobbies include eating good food, playing chess, traveling, watching anime, learning about fashion and listening to music. My favorite genre of music is hip-hop but I like all types of music. I really hope these few paragraphs give you a better understanding of who I am, but if not, I'm an open book and always willing to answer any questions so you can get to know me better. I'm a normal college kid from Dallas studying engineering in Shanghai!
