In Sogamoso, there are public announcements through social media and on news media outlets encouraging people to be conscientious of how much water they’re using while showering. The city has been shutting the water off every evening at 8pm as a way to save.
Currently, the government has been trying to find unique ways to limit unnecessary water use throughout the country. This past Friday (April 19th), the government declared a civil day in which all public universities were closed to limit water use.
