Where are you from? I was born in North Carolina.
How long have you been working off-shore? For nine years. I was 25 when I started off-shore and my first job was dredging. In that role, I dug ship channels. I then moved into geophysical surveying, where I worked for two years.
What attracted you to working off-shore? I was attracted to the adventure. In the off-shore world you work in different places every job. I have worked in America, Australia, Africa, Canada and Iceland. Each job is different and challenges me in new ways each time.
What is your job with Ocean Infinity? I am an AUV operator. I have worked on jobs to find shipwrecks using the autonomous underwater vehicles. We scan the seabed for what we call "anomalies." When we find something obscure in the side-scan sonar data, we send in Remotely-Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to survey the seafloor with deep-sea cameras that have powerful lights.
What is your favorite part of the job? I love the travel and adventure. I get to meet lots of different people from different cultures from all around the world.

How long have you been working off-shore? I have been working off-shore for two years. I have worked with Ocean Infinity in Antarctica, Australia, America and Canada. Before working off-shore, I built ROV systems for four years.
What do you find challenging about the job? It can be difficult at times being away from home for long periods of time. However, I have made brilliant lifelong friends on the vessels.
