During my stay in Brussels, we had partially cloudy skies, with some periods of rain in between. Overall, not too bad! Nonetheles, I always kept my umbrella with me just in case.
While jogging in the Parc du Cinquantenaire, I saw a few rats. Like any major city, Brussels has its share of rats. When I visited Brussels' Sewer Museum (Musée des égouts), I learned more about these rodents. Apparently, they can be a nuisance to sewer operations because they often gnaw on and damage sewer pipes.
During my time in Brussels, the tulips in parks and gardens began to bloom. Tulips are important to Dutch culture, so I was fortunate to see these beautiful flowers!
Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands, is another popular destination for people interested in taking in Dutch culture and admiring tulips. Amsterdam is about two to three hours away from Brussels.
