The island of Bequia is one of the few remaining places in the world where it's still legal to hunt whales. The island's long-standing connection to whaling is on full display at a restaurant I visited while we were in port. To enter the restaurant, I walked through an archway made from two whale ribs, and the bar stools were made out of whale vertebrae (pieces of the backbone)!
