The farthest I traveled was the four-hour bus ride to Chamonix from Lyon.
On this journey, the farthest I have traveled is to Chamonix this weekend!
While in Lyon, I walked to get around. To travel to Chamonix, I took a bus. Once I was in Chamonix, I could walk or take ski lifts to get everywhere I wanted to go to!
The most interesting place I visited this week was the top of Mont Blanc! This mountain top is in Chamonix, and you take a long gondola ride to reach the top! At the top, you can see most of the mountains in the entire mountain range. Also, you can see three different countries: Italy, France and Switzerland!
This weekend was my first trip outside of Lyon! It was an awesome experience to figure out what bus to take and other logistical things in order to make the trip happen! Through this traveling experience, I am hoping to be even more confident traveling farther from Lyon in the future.
