Hola (Hello)! My name is Zanib (Zayn-eb) Al Razaq, and I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. My parents immigrated from Iraq. Growing up in Nebraska, I enjoyed going to the lakes with my family and friends, spending long afternoons reading books, and taking pictures on my camera.
For college, I decided to attend my state university, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and major in economics and minor in Spanish, international trade, and human rights. Having started my studies in Spanish in high school, I've always known that I wanted to study abroad in Spain and immerse myself in Spanish culture. As soon as I began my freshman year of college, I started learning about the study-abroad process and how to be able to study in Spain as soon as possible.
Currently, I am living in Murcia, Spain, and taking courses in international law, Spanish, and economics. Aside from learning a third language because it is my passion, my primary goal is to be able to use my language skills to work in international law and help women who are surviving gender violence. I am excited to share my adventures with you all!
