On the flight, we all began to cry as we began to realize that this would not only be the last time we saw our host families, but the last time we all saw each other. Unfortunately since the pandemic happened, I have not been able to return to Costa Rica or see any of my study abroad classmates. Luckily, we keep in touch on a weekly basis through social media and WhatsApp. I truly hope that one day I get to return to Costa Rica to see all of my friends and family again!
