Hello, global citizens! My name is Adri. Though I was born and raised in Tennessee, I love to travel as much as possible. From this March to December 2025, I will live and work in Peru as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant to teach curious students like you. Are you ready to 'Reach the World' with me?
I was in the STEM academy at Walker Valley High School (C’ 2020), but my career focus changed in 2018 when I took my first trip outside of the United States to visit my grandparents in Ecuador. I fell in love with the delicious cuisine, the Andes mountains, and of course the Spanish language. Being abroad inspired me to reconnect with my Hispanic heritage and revealed my adoration for learning new ways thinking and living. When I returned to the U.S., I decided to continue exploring the world through language. I took Spanish 1-3 in high school, minored in Spanish in college, and lived in the University of the South’s themed “Spanish House,” where I was immersed right on my campus.
