It has been quite rainy this week because it is still typhoon season in Japan. Typhoon season begins in May and usually ends in October. A typhoon is a big storm that occurs in tropical regions, like Japan.
I saw a lot of birds, specifically white Cranes. I always see white cranes in the morning while I am walking to work. They are often in the rice paddies, and there are usually two or three together at a time.
The rural areas of Japan make incredible use of the land when building transit lines. The trains go through a lot of mountains! The modern trains do not distract me from the natural environment. When the train comes out of a tunnel, I am greeted with a magnificent view of rural Japan.
