Because of Seishin's location, students are not easily distracted by the outside world. The school sits on top of a small mountain, away from the strip of road with commercial stores. During a time in which phones and social media are so prevalent, Seishin attempts to focus on the school day as an experience that not only stimulates the growth of the mind but also the spiritual and introspective growth of the students. Once students arrive on campus, they are expected to concentrate on their day at school by giving up their phones and not focusing on the outside world.
