A normal-sized water bottle that I bought from the store was about 2 euros (2€ is about $2.25), and the coffee with milk (or café con leche) that I bought from the cafe was 1.60 euros (1.60€ euros is about $1.80).
When I visited the nearby town of Lugo, I went to brunch with some friends where I got a club sandwich with turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The layered sandwich had a tasty creamy garlic sauce and extra spices. I haven't been able to find many foods here with sauces or spices, so I was so excited to try this sandwich. It was also served with coffee and orange juice for a brunch special! It was a very tasty and fulfilling meal!
I have been listening to a lot of Jack Johnson. His songs are soft and mellow, which are perfect to listen to when enjoying a nice walk around town or great for a day full of planning activities for class. I have also been listening to songs in Spanish to become more familiar with the language. I really like to listen to Spanish music when I go on runs because the songs are really upbeat and help me keep my energy high while I work out.
I ran a race this past weekend in my town with some friends! We ran a total of 6 kilometers (6km or 6K), which is about 3.73 miles. Spain uses a different unit of measurement called the metric system, so the race was measured in kilometers. In the United States, we use a unit of measurement called the imperial system.
