It seems like just yesterday that I arrived in India, but it’s already been over two months! I’ve really enjoyed sharing my experiences with you. I hope you’ve enjoyed learning about India with me. Your questions have made me think more deeply about my experiences here in India and about Indian culture in general.
When I first arrived in India I was nervous. I didn’t know how to get around the city, how to speak the language or what the food will be like. My first few weeks in India were hard. But slowly I got to know some of my fellow students, and through them, I came to learn so much about my new home. They taught me many important things that have helped me to adjust to India. They've introduced me to Indian food from all over the country, important phrases in Hindi and Kannada, how to bargain with auto drivers, and more.
Thanks to their friendship, I have really settled in India. I didn't expect to enjoy my time here as much as I have! The colorful clothes, the spicy food, and the welcoming people are just a few of the things I love about India. Another thing I love is how there's always new stuff to learn about the culture here! Luckily, I’ll be in India for another seven months. I’m looking forward to exploring other parts of India and seeing more of this beautiful country.
