This week I traveled almost 2,000 miles.
Cinque Terre, Italy -> Interlaken, Switzerland -> Budapest, Hungary
I have travelled 10, 241 miles on my journey so far!
I took a variety of transportation this week. I flew into Italy and took a train to the coast. From there, I took a bus to Switzerland. Then, I flew to Budapest and back home.
Budapest was the most interesting place I visited over the break. The first day I was there I went to a museum called the House of Terror. There, I learned about the history of Hungary from the time of the Nazis in WWII, to the communist regime of the Soviets, to the present day. The city is full of so much life yet so much hurt and brokenness. You can sense the need in the streets, yet you can see how far they've come in such a short time.
