It is so nice living here and not seeing garbage all over the streets. It also motivates me and many other people to take an active role in caring for the environment.
This is another truck that travels around Oviedo! This truck has two huge brushes on the bottom and is used to sweep and buff the tiles on the sidewalks and in the parks!
Here is an example of some of the trash cans that are placed outside of apartment buildings. The yellow bins are for recycling and the black bins are for general waste.
Another job these community workers have is to fix the fountains, cut the grass around them, and plant flowers!
