What main languages are spoken here?:

Spanish, Spanish, and Spanish! Although, many people who work in tourism or for foreign comanies speak English, too.

What type of money is used here?:

Colones! Colones appear in coins and bills (just like American money). 1000 Colones is equal to about 2 USD. 

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

About 500 colones or $1.

What was the best meal this week?:

Pata de Chancho. This dish is a soup made out of pig legs! It was delicious, but it's always a surprise when a pig hoof ends up in your mouth...

What music did I listen to this week?:

I listened to a lot of Reggae music this week. Next week I head to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica where Raggae music is popular, so I've been prepping for that trip by listening to this music!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

I went on a walk with a friend of mine to a local cow farm. We go to check out the cows and watched an amazing sunset from the farm.

What did I read this week?:

I've been reading a book called Meditations written by a Roman emperor and philospher named Marcus Aurelius.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I played soccer with some locals on a new privately-owned turf field.
