Number of sunny days this week: 7
What is the air temperature right now in Fahrenheit?: 74
How was the weather this week?:

The weather in Lesotho is almost always sunny! Unless a snow or rain storm is approaching, there usually isn't a cloud in the sky. The African sun is unlike anything I've experienced before. It is so powerful that it hurts my skin to be in direct sunlight for longer than ten minutes. I try to always wear a hat and sunglasses whenever I go outside, and I put sunscreen with a high level of SPF on my face every morning. Basotho love hot weather, and they will wear coats and hats whenever the temperature falls below 70 degrees. They do appreciate rain because Lesotho is primarily farming and agriculture focused. Rain is so important that it's included in the national motto , Khotso! (Peace) Pula! (Rain) Nala! (Prosperity)

What animals did I see this week? :

I saw so many animals this week. It is springtime now, and spring means baby season! My landlady's cat has recently given birth to two kittens, and one of the donkeys also had a baby within the last two weeks. With the recent additions, we now have six cats, two dogs, three donkeys, over 30 chickens, and one cow. Goats and sheep are also very popular in Lesotho, and I see them grazing the fields anytime I walk to the taxi stop.
