I'm most excited to try Korean-style Chinese food, like black bean noodles and fried pork. Dining out in Korea is very affordable and most menus include photos to help with ordering if you don't understand Korean.
This week I read the syllabus for my persuasive communication course, I'm looking forward to making new friends in my class. Also, registering for courses at Korea University is known to be very competitive, so I spent the week researching how to get the classes I want! I'm waiting to be approved for Aesthetic of Visual Media and Beginner Korean.
I discovered the best arcade in my neighborhood. It was full of arcade games and toy machines. I've never been to arcades in the U.S., but I imagine they are different because these ones are claw machines where you try to grab the prizes outside of the machine. These are really difficult to win but so addictive!
This week I made a lot of new friends and can't wait to explore Seoul with them. I want to explore places like Hongdae and Itaewon, which are known for having great restaurants and clothing shops.
