Transportation in Ecuador

First because they’re more expensive, and second because that’s not how people usually get around here! One thing I also love about the public buses is that there are often vendors who jump on to sell their products. It’s usually some type of food like traditional Ecuadorian candy, ice cream or sandwiches. A few times I’ve also seen people selling beautiful jewelry right on the bus!

During my time in Ecuador, I want to experience the culture and how people live, even if it’s not the easiest and most convenient way. I think it would be a shame if someone lived abroad but didn’t try new things and open their world to new experiences!
