This week I traveled the furthest since I have been abroad. I started in London and traveled to Paris. Then from Paris, I went to Florence, Italy. I visited Lucca, another small town in Italy which is about an hour away from Florence. Then I left Florence and returned to Paris. Finally, I went from Paris back to London.
I am not sure how many miles I have traveled on my whole study abroad journey, but I have visited four different countries so far: England, Scotland, France and Italy!
This week I rode a lot of trains. Some of them were rather long. I took a train from France to Italy and it took 15 hours! This is the longest train ride that I have ever taken.
One of the most interesting places that I visited was the Galileo Museum. This was a museum that displayed a lot of the scientific instruments that existed back in Galileo's day and explored the way in which science has evolved throughout time. The museum showed the different instruments and methods throughout time that have led scientists to the understanding of the world we have today.
