The main form of transportation for me this week was walking. I always walk to get to school, to hang out with my friends, and to attend events. I also used public transportation to get to nearby pueblos. I also rode around on a motorcycle a few times since my friend owns one.
When I traveled to Morocco, I had to take a bus to get to the coast, then a ferry to get to Morocco. Traveling on a ferry is a common form of transportation here since the two countries (Spain and Morocco) are so close and separated by water.
I visited a magical place with the nickname "Blue City "while I was in Morocco. The city is called Chefchaouene (Chef-chow-en). It is called the "Blue City" because the whole town is painted blue! The town was historically painted blue to keep the mosquitos away. The smell of the blue dye is what keeps these insects away. I could not believe how beautiful this magical blue place was.
