Traveler Bio

Bonjour! Hello! My name is Audrey Van Drimmelen. I am from Utah, a beautiful state with outdoor adventures right at my fingertips. My hobbies include skiing, kayaking, painting, and sewing. The most important thing you need to know about me is that I can lick my elbow! I am a student at Utah State University (USU), studying Outdoor Product Design and Development. For my senior year, I am an exchange student in Annecy, France.

You might ask "What is Outdoor Product Design?" Well, it is design for apparel, backpacks, shoes, and other gear that help you explore and enjoy the outdoors. My emphasis is in apparel. My school in France is placed at the foot of the French Alps and next to a beautiful glacier lake. It is the perfect place to get active outside and to get inspired for my designs. Some of the classes I take include color theory, textile science, drawing, sustainability, and product design. I am thrilled to be in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Annecy, France, to learn from professional designers.

I can't wait to go on this journey with you. Hold on tight and here we go!
