Between Buenos Aires and my farthest destination point (Valparaíso), that is 767.89 miles (1,235.79 km) total! Thankfully, due to a short hour-and-a-half flight and the bus rides and Ubers through Chile, I was able to travel with ease!
I have traveled from Buenos Aires to Santiago, Chile (via plane), which is 742.72 miles (1,195.29 km). Then, I went from Santiago to Valparaíso by bus, traveling 74.27 miles (119.52 km).
Total Distance Traveled This Week: ~817 miles
In Buenos Aires - I either walk where I want to go or order an Uber motorcycle (yes, I also did not know that that was even an option anywhere)
In Santiago - My friends and I used Uber to get around town or we just walked around, especially since the city is walkable.
In Valparaíso - My friends and I used a travel bus to get from Santiago to Valparaíso, but after that, we used Ubers or walked around depending on how far we were going. We then took another travel bus from Casa Blanca (which is between the two cities) back to Santiago.
Bonus: We got to know a Taxi driver in Casa Blanca, so he offered to take us to and from our bus stop, the wineries and back to the bus stop at the end of our day.
