Predators can harm these birds. Deforestation and distruption of their habitats can also harm magpies, as well as pollution. Another threat to these birds is human civilization, as humans often see magpies as pests due to the damage these birds can cause to crops or other wildlife.
To my knowledge, magpies are not endangered and they are certainly plentiful around Seoul!
