Interview with Emma!

Introduction:

Some of my classes only have exchange students but most of them are mixed with Estonian students. My Estonian classmates have been very helpful in helping me navigate Estonia and the university! This week, I was excited to learn more about my classmate's life outside of school.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

"I live in a district of Tallinn called Pirita. It is by the Baltic sea and the forest is right next to my house. It is a beautiful area in the middle of nature and I have lived there all my life.

"Now that I am in University, I live in an apartment building, but it's the size of a small one-story house. The building has three apartments and three floors, so each floor has one apartment. My home has a lot of light gray paint and the interior design is inspired by Scandanavian and Italian houses. We have several windows. My home has four main rooms (three bedrooms and a living room with an open kitchen) and two bathrooms."

What is your family like?:

"In my family there is me (21 years old), my sister (22 years old), and my mother and father. My sister studies at a university near Boston in America and I study at Tallinn University. My father is a journalist and my mother works as a strategist at TalTech University (also in Tallinn). We are close and do many things together."
