I went to Paris, France this weekend, so I will share a little about my experience there.
The main language spoken there is French!
In Paris, they use the same type of money as Italy, which is Euros (€). Any bill bigger than €20 is rarely used, so it is usually to carry smaller change with you when you go shopping around town.
Bottles of water cost about the same as in Italy, which is about €1 to €2. However, I have found bottles of water at the supermarket for as cheap as €0.30!
The best meal I had this week was something I had in Paris. It was called aligot, which is a dish where cheese is blended into mashed potatoes. Mine was served on a plate with sausage and you are supposed to eat it all together. It did not look good at first, but I am glad I tried it because it was the best thing I had on my whole trip!
Many European countries listen to American pop music, but sometimes I heard French music in stores I went into.
