Hello explorers, thank you for joining me on my journey in Taiwan!
It is crazy how time flies. Just last August, I had arrived fresh off the plane with few expectations and all the anxiety and excitement that comes with traveling to a new place. And yet here I am more than 9 months later and I cannot believe I have only a couple months left with my students! Reflecting on this past year, I am so grateful for all the amazing connections I have made and all the unforgettable experiences I have had with my fellow teachers, students and community here in Taiwan. Although I will be heading back to the US at the end of June, I hope that we will see each other again, whether that is virtually or in person, in Taiwan or around the world. 希望我们有机会再次见面~
I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside you all these past twelve weeks. Through our exchange, I have had the opportunity to learn about Taiwanese history and culture from new perspectives, gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the country I have had the privilege to live and work in this past year. If there is one thing I have learned above all else it is that there is always more to learn. I hope our time together has inspired you to continue learning more about the world around you!
