Moi/Hello! My name is Brittany, and I am honored to spend the next several months sharing my adventures in Finland with you. Here are some interesting facts about me.
I have been to Kentucky twice and one of my good friends is from Louisville. I think that it’s a beautiful state and hope to visit again someday. When I was young, my family moved 15 times, so I never went to high school, at least, not in the traditional sense. I was homeschooled from 7th grade to 12th grade with my brothers in a rural area of Florida where they breed horses, like another cool place I know!
My goal is to eventually become a pediatrician, but so far the road has been winding journey and full of adventure. Three years ago, I was a biology research intern at the National Institutes of Health; we ate donuts, played laser tag and worked with robots to cure breast cancer – a pretty cool summer! I love being in front of the camera and have played small roles in theme parks and on TV. My grandparents love to cook and have passed that on to me. My mother always encouraged us to spend time in the library so I love to read and write; occasionally – I put all my words in the right order and people will even pay me for it! I have all brothers – no sisters.
