Poutine and Mexican Food in Canada

This field note will talk about the distinctive Canadian food called poutine, which I ate with my dad upon arriving in Canada through Quebec. I will also share a recent experience eating Mexican food in Ottawa.

What food did I try?:

I tried Canadian poutine with my dad a few months ago. This is a plate with French fries, gravy and curd cheese. It can also be served with chicken. This plate is originally from Quebec, Canada, and I tried it in Montreal.

While visiting the local Mexican restaurant, Si Señor, I tried three different tacos, chips, churros and one of my favorite drinks, Jarritos.

How did I feel when I tried it?:

Poutine is a world of flavors and the mix of ingredients makes it unique and delicious. I felt incredible tasting it, as it adds a new food I like.
