Japanese is widely spoken in Japan.
The Japanese yen is their main currency.
It costs about 100 yen, which is the equivalent of .96 cents in USD.
Okonomiyaki, which is basically a savory pancake, was my absolute favorite meal. All of the good eats for me were in Osaka, Japan. Luckily, a girl I traveled with had watched numerous YouTube videos about Japanese culture and food, so I ate whatever she ate. The traditional dishes we tried were as follows: Taiyaki (fish-shaped cake), Takoyaki (fried octopus balls), Okonomiyaki (savory pancake), Daifuku (mochi with strawberry), and Melon Pan (bread with ice cream). Also, I stumbled across a Garret’s popcorn and Krispy Kreme donut in Osaka, Japan!
I listened to J-Pop, which is Japanese pop music. Arashi is one of the most popular boy bands in Japan.
