I learned that the underground of the Colosseum had 24 elevators that required 224 people, often slaves, to operate them. The elevators were used to lift a variety of animals and people onto the ground floor to fight in the arena.
I visit Como every week to work in a chemistry lab with my professor from home. I love seeing the beautiful mountains and the lake!
