This week I was in Milan, Como, and Rome, Italy. Como is a mountain city about one hour north of Milan by train, and Rome is about three hours south of Milan. Milan is very well connected to nearby cities in Europe, which means I can travel almost anywhere by bus, train, or plane. Travel to other cities is pretty inexpensive, too!
I’ve been to lots of different places so far this semester! Here’s where I’ve been:
To get to school everyday, I take a bus for 15 minutes to the underground Metro station, and then take the Metro for 10 minutes to school. A lot people in Milan use public transportation to get to work and school, so the bus is always very crowded in the morning!
To travel to Como and Rome, I took a regional train. These trains are similar to the FrontRunner trains in Utah. They travel very quickly and have two levels you can sit on.
