My parents are both originally from Oklahoma though, so I am a U.S. citizen, and I have spent many summers in Oklahoma. After Mozambique, we were briefly in Baltimore, Maryland until our next location overseas. That location turned out to be Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, France. After we learned French there, we moved to Dakar, Senegal. (Enjoying the ping-pong match so far?) Next was a somewhat unexpected stop in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania before we were living abroad again, this time in Puebla, Mexico. After Mexico, my family officially moved back to the U.S. for good, which is where I started high school in Kingman, Arizona. After graduation, I went to Boulder, Colorado for concurrent (at the same time) undergraduate and graduate degrees in Civil Engineering for Developing Communities. I then worked for a few years in Steamboat Springs, Colorado before taking a brief break in Powhatan, Virginia to help my family through some transitions and to prepare for my latest adventure. That's right, I didn't have enough pins in my map, so I moved to Dublin, Ireland where I am currently pursuing a graduate degree related to refugees. For now that's where my ping-pong is in play.
Due to my many travels and experiences, I have a surprisingly wide range of interests. (Sarcasm is among them.) Although I suspect that even if I hadn't grown up all over the world, I would still be interested in a variety of things.
