What main languages are spoken here?:

The main language that is spoken in Argentina is Spanish. However, the accents of the natives make it sound like they are speaking Italian to me. In a way, the Argentines speak like they are singing. Their Spanish has a certain ring to it, which I find very intriguing.

There are a lot of people here who have Italian, Spanish and German ancestry, so those languages are also found here. Argentina is the second most multiethnic society in the world. Can you guess who is first? In addition to the European languages, there are also a few indigenous languages found here. However, they are not as widely known and are slowly disappearing.

What type of money is used here?:

The money here is called the Argentine peso (ARS). The Argentine economy is unstable and fluctuates often, so the exchange rates change daily. As I write this, one USD ($1.00) is equal to $15.38 Argentine pesos. Since 2013, the exchange rates have declined drastically and continue to decline.

There is a Wal-Mart in the city I live in. I went to it the other day to find some things that I needed and bought five items: hot sauce, donuts, a blanket, a light bulb and a sheet set. I paid about $57.00 USD. What a difference in the Wal-Marts here and the ones in the states!
