It can, however, be easy to get overly-fixated on that goal: for one thing, it doesn't mean every single day needs to be new and exciting because most days are actually pretty normal and mundane! But saying "yes" to new experiences is something I plan to keep doing long after I am back from Spain. Another piece of advice I'd like to give you is always to keep your options open and not have too strict of a life plan. My life plan after graduation was to stay in Nebraska and teach, but I chose to stray off of my plan for the year and I'm so glad I did that! As juniors in high school, you have a lot of time to figure out the future, so remain open to any opportunities that might come your way.
I wish you all the best for the rest of your high school experience! Thanks for being such a great penpal class.
