Hola (Hello) from Spain! My name is Christina. I am 22 years old and from Omaha, Nebraska. I loved growing up and living in Omaha, so I stayed there during college and studied to become a teacher. Before I graduated, I worked at a dual language school, where the students learned half of their subjects in Spanish and the other half in English. After college, I wanted to keep practicing my Spanish skills and continue learning how to be an impactful teacher, so I applied for a Fulbright Scholarship in Spain.
I am so grateful to have received the scholarship because I get to teach preschool in a brand-new country. I am a native English-speaking teacher, but I get to practice my Spanish here in Spain on a daily basis. In Spain, I have tried so many new foods, met so many great people, visited so many cool places in Spain (and around Europe), and made so many cherished memories. I'm so excited to share my journey with you!
